Caritas College: We are glad to hear that the girls will continue in their own school till the new St.Seton’s Secondary College will be built.
Synod: We continue to prepare for our parish assemblies, and will have more details by next week. Meanwhile we would encourage you to take home a copy of the Synod prayer which you will find in the church, and say it each day. It is a prayer that will help you understand better what we are about and open our hearts to the Holy Spirit’s urging. Collections
The National Bishop’s conference has advised that as the Covid pandemic has not yet passed we should not be passing the baskets on from one to another and for that reason the PPC have decide that the collections for The Common Fund (for priests) and Share would take place as people enter the Church from next weekend. Again we would remind people and ask that they take note that the only money that goes to the up-keeping of the Church is the envelope collection, direct debits and shrines. We are grateful to those who contribute in any way.
