Altar Servers
All children are welcome to join. Must have received first Holy Communion. Meet in the church on Tuesday evenings @ 6.45. For more details contact sacristy 6264448

Society
Activities involve care for the altar and sanctuary area including sacred space (seasonal focus point through symbols), altar linen, candles & flowers.

Adult Education

Alcoholics Anonymous
Meet weekly in different areas in parish. For more details contact Parish Centre 6230193 or library 6269324.

Aged:
St. Mary's Club.
Meet in the Parish centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contact person: Eileen McMahon
Rossaveal centre , Drumfinn Rd meet Wednesday & Friday
Little Flower Club: For those who are housebound. Transport is organised for them. The club meets on Wednesday afternoon 2 –4pm in Parish Centre.

B

Baptism Team:
Arranges a visit to parents before and after the baptism. They also take part in the meeting on the Wednesday evening @ 8pm before baptisms which take place on 1 st and 3 rd Sunday's.

Bereavement Group
Bethany Bereavement Group: A voluntary parish-based, trained group which aims to provide care and support to the bereaved. It offers on-going support and understanding during the difficult times of grief and loss. Utmost confidentiality is assured at all times. Meet on first Thursday of every month @ 8pm in the Parish Centre or if required on a one to one basis. Contact Parish Centre @ 6230193 or Sacristy 6264448.

Church Cleaners
Different groups meet to look after the church. Some people meet on Monday morning @ 10.30 to clean the church. All are welcome. Just arrive any Monday morning and give a dig out.

Folk Group, Saturday evening Mass 6.30pm. Practice on Tuesday @ 8pm.
Childrens Mass: 10.30 every second Sunday. Practice every Thursday @3.30pm during school time.

Eucharistic Adoration Takes place every Friday from 10.30 – 7.30 in small chapel. Feel free to come along to the church and spend some time before the Blessed Sacrament in prayer. Pray for yourself, your family, the parish or different needs of the world.

Eucharistic Ministers
Two ministries here. To distribute Holy Communion at Mass & to bring Holy Communion to sick and housebound. If you know anyone who would like Holy Communion brought to them, please leave their name & address in the sacristy. 6264448

Finance
Church Envelopes: Volunteers collect weekly Church envelopes. A voluntary group meet to count the money which is the main income for the day-to-day running of the Parish.
Another group count the Sunday basket collections which go towards supporting the clergy in the parish & diocese and the share fund of the diocese.

First Aid:
St John's Ambulance:
Meet Thursday 8pm in Health Centre.

Gardening Club Meet occasionally in parish centre. Contact Helen Burke at the Civic Centre.

Home Help: This is a support service to enable persons to be maintained in their own homes and to provide support for vulnerable families. It is provided mainly for elderly and incapacitated persons. Contact Ann @6234555

Society of St Vincent De Paul
There are 4 different conferences that meet serving the Ballyfermot area. All correspondence and messages are to be left in to sacristy. Volunteers needed to help. If interested, enquire in the sacristy.

The society also runs a shop “ Fred's Fashion” on Le Fanu Rd where second hand clothes are sold at very reasonable prices .
