- CYC encourages young people to participate in the Arts through a wide variety of workshops, training courses and art days.
- CYC promotes a wide variety of outdoor pursuits for young people
- As a Diocesan agency CYC is especially concerned with the spiritual needs of young people, organising retreats, youth liturgies, parish based programmes, pilgrimages, Christian arts and Drama.

Email received during the week
Hi my name is Michael Murphy, I am originally from St. Matthew’s parish, I now reside in Canada, but just wanted to say my time as an altar boy at St Matthews Church while I attended Mary Queen of Angles hold great memories for me. Just want to say hi to all the people attending mass this Sunday. We may be miles away from home but our hearts are still with you all in Ballyfermot. Thanks to all the nuns and priests who gave us the opportunity to realize our dreams and helped us in our quest to find God. He is with us in all we do everyday. I do not mean to sound like God Squad but he is here with you and me always. ThanksCalligraphy workshop – Palmerstown ICA
