Archbishop Martin calls for prayers

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has called for prayers for those killed and injured in Thursday’s terrorist attacks in London. Archbishop Martin said they and their families would be remembered at Masses in the Dublin Diocese over the weekend. The Archbishop, who was in the London area when news of the explosions emerged, said his thoughts and prayers were with the victims and their families at this time.

Tidy up in the Church

By now people will have noticed the space in the back chapel for placing mortal remains over weekends. Other cleanups are planned in the near future. We found some spare boxes of church envelopes. If you wish to take a box home and leave it on the plate on Sundays or to give to a new neighbour, feel free to do so. They are on the table at back of church.

If you have skills that could be put to use in caring for the church we’d greatly appreciate it. Painting, window cleaning, upkeep of pews, general cleaning…etc. Those who clean the Church on Monday mornings (10.30am) would love an extra few pairs of hands.
