St Matthew's Parish Notes

Feast of Christ the King
Sunday, 23rd November 2003

Questions People Ask
Q. If we are meant to be raised on the last day, where do the souls of the dead reside in the interim?
A. The teaching of our religion is that there will be the particular judgement of each of us at the hour of death and the general or Last judgement at the end of time. We will be called to our eternal reward at our particular judgement. That means that, there and then, we enter eternal blessedness or suffer the hell of rejecting God, The general judgement will manifest the gathering of all life in the triumph of the reign of Cod.
